Description
Tralee is the gateway to the beautiful and rugged Dingle Peninsula with its wonderful clean beaches. The town itself has a large selection of gift shops, pubs offering traditional Irish music and award winning restaurants. Tralee has a wide range of sports and recreational facilities to suit all ages. Some of these include:
Tralee Sports & Leisure Centre with a 25mtr pool and kiddies pool, fitness suite, sports hall, squash/racquetball courts and outdoor tennis courts. Tralee Aquadome one of Ireland’s largest and most modern indoor water leisure facilities incorporating a free form leisure pool, waves, rapids, water slide and sauna suite. An outdoor adventure play area with crazy golf and model boats has recently been added.
The Tralee County muesumn where a ride through time is a possibility. Walking on Dingle Way and the North Kerry Way with local walks in the town including the canal bank walk and the walk to Ballyseedy Wood. A new 9.9 kms walk known as Slí na Sláinte has recently been developed around the Town
The Kerries, a 9 hole golf corse just outside Tralee and Tralee Golf Club, the first course in Europe designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer, an 18 hole ‘links’ course at Barrow some 9 miles from Tralee.
Also available are boating, angling, a 4 screen cinema, the only working windmill in Ireland, greyhound track, horse racing several times a year, Snooker Hall, Bowling Alley, Indoor Kiddies Adventure Centre and Equestrian Centre.

From Tralee take the Listowel Road (with the train station on your right), pass the Mercedes garage on right, pass spar on right, and you will see a closed down filling station on right side. We are three houses above on right hand side, approx 1.5 km from town centre. |
